Real estate has been completely transformed by technology. Originally the Multiple Listing Service (MLS) was available only to realtors. With the rise of the internet the MLS was made available to everyone. However, the information was limited and were just a few pictures. It was all the information that local realtors needed because they have the local "lay of the land". But, 25 to 30 pictures don't really tell the complete story.
Technology continues to reshape real estate. From Matterport's immersive models to Google Earth's Street View giving you a look around the neighborhood. You can get the true flavor of a house and neighborhood from half way around the world. This is all very good and the changes look to continue for some time.
